The Developmental Disabilities Program at Baker Victory Services (also known as the OMRDD program) is always looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to lend a hand and make a difference in the lives of our children. Specific activities will include things like: reading, arts and crafts, music, games, walks and assisting with various community outings.

Share your time, skills and talents with individuals who have developmental disabilities. The Volunteer Program is designed to enchance the quality of life for individuals in this life-affirming field. These residents may range in age from infancy to adulthood, but all have multiple disabilities and/or specialized medical needs. We will provide all training that is necessary.

How can volunteering help you?

How can you become a volunteer at BVS?
It's simple! Anyone age 18 and up can volunteer. You must comply with the NYS Health Code, which requires an initial and annual tuberculosis test, a criminal background check, and a child abuse registry check. We will provide all of the above.

To apply or for more information, call our Volunteer Program Coordinator, at 828-9534. Or leave us an email by clicking here.
