Health & Wellness Programs

The health and wellness of our employees is paramount to their ability to effectively and safely serve the individuals in their care. For those who choose to participate, a monthly $50.00 health insurance rebate is offered to employees and their covered spouses who complete a no-cost risk assessment and reach established health goals.

BVS also has a very active wellness committee who work to bring wellness education and activities to the employees. The committee plans both formal and informal events throughout the year for the employees; for example: free lunch 'n learns, blood donation drives, discount Body Shaping classes, Yoga, walking clubs, JP Morgan Corporate Challenge, Biggest Loser competitions, Flu clinics and much more.

Fitness Facility

Baker Victory Services operates a spacious fitness center that is open 6am to 6pm daily and is free to all employees. Equipment available includes treadmills, spinning, elliptical machines, stair climbing machines, free weights, and machine trainers. Changing and showering facilities are also made available.

Medical Insurance

As part of a comprehensive benefit package, BVS offers a variety of health care plans to fit every lifestyle. All plans are administered by Independent Health/NOVA with coverage beginning on the first of month after 30 or 60 days of employment depending on the position. Plans are enhanced through flexible spending accounts that include medical care reimbursement, dependent care reimbursement, and health savings. Additional voluntary health benefits include Cancer Insurance Accident Insurance, and Short Term Disability.

Dental Services

Baker Victory Services operates a fully accredited full-service Dental Center and provides 100% employer paid coverage for all full-time employees for all services provided to employees at the Center. Additional comprehensive dental coverage, good at any dentist, is also available for purchase.

Tuition Reimbursement

Employees are eligible to receive up to $1,200 per semester, up to $7,200 lifetime for credit bearing college courses that relate to job function.

Credit Union

All employees have access to the Our Lady of Victory Institutions Federal Credit Union located on the main Baker Victory Services campus. The Credit Union has been serving its members for more than 42 years and offers share certificates with low minimum balance requirements in addition to savings and checking accounts, vehicle loans and other types of credit.

Child Care Programs

Baker Victory Services is a family friendly workplace that provides high-quality daycare and preschool programs. Child Care Programs are offered from 6:30am to 6:00pm and employees are provided with up to a 25% discount on tuition depending on the age of the children and number of days they attend.

Pension / Retirement

Baker Victory Services employees have access to the Diocese of Buffalo Pension Plan.
