Baker Victory Nite is a cocktail reception with a twist — plenty of winning! There are a number of activities going on during the evening, including a silent auction, a 100 prize “theme- basket” raffle, two split club drawings, and, of course, the Grand Drawing. All participants are entered into the big raffle, which features the evening’s top prizes, including $5,000 in cash!

Attendees include community, political and business leaders, adoptive parents, vendors, friends, and staff from the OLV Institutions. The cost of tickets for the evening are $85 per ticket, of which $50 is tax-deductible. That price includes an open bar, unlimited food, a shot at the top five prizes, and a number of “theme-basket” raffle tickets to get you started.

We Need Your Help! There are a number of ways you can lend a helping hand:

• Collect Prizes: We are always in need of items to be used as prizes in the auctions. You can donate an item yourself—things like movie tickets, lottery tickets, dinner certificates, store gift certificates, artwork, jewlery, toys – or join others in putting a basket or prize pack together.
  
  
• Join Us! As you can guess, a majority of the money raised throughout the evening is done so via ticket sales. More tickets mean more attendees and that means a better bottom line for the children served by BVS! Get your ticket today – we want you there!
  
  
• Volunteer That Night We have a number of volunteer opportunities open the night of the event. We also offer two different work shifts, so that all members of our event team can enjoy the evening. A full listing of job openings and responsibilities is available through the BVS Special Events office.

Baker Victory Nite benefits the Baker Victory Services (BVS) Adoption Program, which places more than 120 chilren into local, loving homes on an annual basis. Proceeds from the event help to keep adoption fees lower and more affordable for couples. It also allows BVS to continue programs already established with orphanages, as well as assist in developing relationships with new countries.

ABOUT ADOPTION AT BVS
The Baker Victory Services (BVS) Adoption Program began in 1906, and has united thousands of children and families since that time. While BVS continues to assist couples interested in domestic adoptions, the organization has also developed an extensive international program.

Operating in conjunction with a number of foreign countries (including Russia, China, Ukraine, Colombia, Kazahkstan, Poland and others), the International Adoption Program helps place more than 100 orphaned and/or abandoned children into loving, local homes each year.

Just one way BVS builds dreams is through its sucessful Summer Victories program. This unique initiative brings orphans from the Colombia to Western New York for a summer stay with local families. Upon completion of the visit, the host families can begin the adoption process with the hope that soon their loving family will welcome back a new and smiling face.
